About Northamptonshire
Northamptonshire is a largely rural county located in the East
Midlands region of England and consists chiefly of Northampton, Kettering,
Corby and Wellingborough. Neighbouring counties include Leicestershire,
Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.
There are many splendid historic buildings in and around
Northamptonshire. A fine example is Northamptonshire property Holdenby House. This grand stately home is
set in beautiful gardens and has connections with royalty spanning over 400
years.
Another significant building is the Church
of the Holy Sepulchre. It is one of the oldest properties in
Northamptonshire dating back to 1100, built on instruction from the first Earl
of Northampton, Simon de Senlis.
