About Hampshire
Hampshire is a county located on the south coast of England,comprising chiefly of Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke
and Winchester, its county town. The beautiful New Forest is also located
in Hampshire.
Southampton and Portsmouth are both important Hampshire port cities.Southampton
caters for freight and luxury vessels such as the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) and the Queen Mary 2 (QM2). The port
of Portsmouth also features prominently, housing a Royal Navy
base.
