About Luton
Situated not far from London, Luton is a town located in the
south of England. It is traditionally known for its hat making industry, as
well as its motor production.Today, the town is probably best known for its airport, London Luton Airport, along with its
football team, Luton Town FC
and the University of Bedfordshire.Football is the most prominent Luton sport, with Luton Town FC competing
nationally for league and cup success. They are nicknamed The Hatters due to
the town’s historic association with hat production, and won the League Cup back in 1988.Luton International
Carnival is held every May and attracts thousands of people from all over
the country all wanting a glimpse of its eye-catching multicultural offerings.
