I pondered the logistics: I had to get my weighty travel bag and myself into a cabin bed 12 feet above ground. There wasn't a convenient ladder so I decided to scale the stockade of cabin beds. I would climb more effectively without my travel bag, so I decided to launch it onto my bed.

My Millennium Christmas

On December 22, I took the train to the city of Winchester to walk about the crowded high street, admiring the Christmas decorations and enjoying the happy atmosphere. I also paid a very interesting visit to the Gurkha Museum at the far end of the high street.
