About Bradford
Bradford is an ethnically diverse city located in the West
Yorkshire region of England. It has strong links with the Brontë family, whose
original home was in the village of Haworth on the outskirts of the city, which
now contains the Brontë Parsonage Museum.Bradford business used to be booming during the Industrial
Revolution. Reminders of its past industrial prowess are evident today with
many mills still standing, most notably Manningham Mills, whose enormous
chimney can be seen from miles away.
